Prevent Visual Studio Toolbox Installer Package

8 Steps to prevent the visual studio toolbox loading items over and over again on init.

1. Close Visual Studio 2010
2. Go to   %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0
3. Delete all .tbd files
4. Open regedit
5. Find  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\Packages\{2c298b35-07da-45f1-96a3-be55d91c8d7a}\Toolbox
6. Update  "Default Items" value 1 to 0 (prevents the toolbox loading the items on init)
7. Start Visual Studio.
8. Reset the toolbox if needed.
